Haliburton region to host unique outdoor forest festival

Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve to be the backdrop for variety of performers


(Haliburton, Ontario) Beginning August 22, 2008, the Algonquin area will experience the annual Forest Festival celebration. Set in the rugged splendor of the Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve, The Forest Festival invites audiences to experience the work of fabulous Canadian performers and artists in a whole new way.

Mary-Lou Fallis, Canada’s foremost musical comedienne, will perform on a floating stage with nothing but nature as a backdrop while OnnanoKo, a high-octane, women Taiko Drumming Ensemble, will present “Drumming to the Stars” which promises to be a sunset concert spectacular.
