Interview Opportunity: Spring Bird Migration 2008


Caroline Schultz, Executive Director of Ontario Nature is an expert on the Ontario Spring Bird Migration and bird natural history.


WHAT:

Every spring, Ontario welcomes over 400 hundred different bird species as the hundreds of thousands of birds return from their winter habitat in the southern United States, and Central and South America.

Ms. Schultz will be available for interviews regarding the unique phenomena and address the following points:

• How birds navigate back from such long distances;
• Where the best viewing areas are around the province;
• What types of birds migrate and where they settle;
• What essential equipment you will need to enjoy bird watching, and;
• The health of Ontario’s bird species and the current status of bird populations
